This New York Model S owner eventually was able to get Tesla to upgrade his 60kW battery back to an 85kW pack. That translates into roughly 60 more statute miles per charge. At first Tesla said there is no way they could do that. The same answer I received when I inquired at the factory about an year ago. Persistence and ingenuity paid off.
